Senior Compliance Analyst – External Audit

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Support the maintenance of Centene Corporation’s Compliance Program, emphasizing the coordination of external audits and regulatory examinations.

• Act as the primary coordinator and main point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies for designated audits.

• Oversee the comprehensive coordination of external audits from start to finish.

• Address and manage external inquiries related to regulatory audits.

• Facilitate and support interactions between auditors and regulators.

• Review preliminary audit reports, assist in developing rebuttals, and coordinate responses.

• Convey state and federal regulatory requirements pertaining to external audits.

• Organize and oversee audit and regulatory documentation.

• Aid health plans in nurturing relationships with regulatory agencies.

• Act as a company-wide resource on compliance and external audit matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant legal field or equivalent experience is required.

• A Master’s or Juris Doctorate degree is preferred and may be considered in place of experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in compliance, privacy, and/or regulatory affairs.

• Experience in project management with a solid understanding of laws and/or regulations in the compliance area.

• Practical experience in supporting external audits.

• A background in healthcare is essential.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Comfortable delivering presentations to large stakeholder groups, including executive leadership.

• Strong, professional written and verbal communication skills with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
