Senior Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and enhance cloud infrastructure and identity systems.

• Develop and sustain security automation and detection pipelines.

• Assess and assist in securing AI-assisted and agentic tools utilized internally, including Claude Code, MCP servers, and LLM-driven automation.

• Investigate and address security findings, which include triaging authentication anomalies, examining access logs, and querying data using Athena, CloudTrail Lake, or Superset.

• Contribute Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code for security controls, identity provisioning, compliance-related configurations, and monitoring.

• Support secure network and cloud deployment designs tailored for enterprise customer environments.

• Collaborate with engineering and customer-facing teams to fulfill customer requirements.

• Research emerging cloud-native and AI security capabilities, including AI-enabled attack methods, and translate insights into actionable controls and internal guidelines.

• Create internal documentation, runbooks, and playbooks to enhance security practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in cloud-native security or DevSecOps.

• More than 3 years of experience with Bash or Python.

• Extensive, hands-on experience with a leading cloud provider: AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, such as Terraform.

• Experience with identity and access management platforms like Okta or Azure AD.

• Practical exposure to OAuth/token architecture, AI/LLM-assisted tooling security, or agentic workflow design.

• Strong understanding of operating systems and networking principles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Must successfully complete a thorough background check.

• Must address United States work authorization/visa sponsorship status in the application.
