Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Infrastructure team during sprints to enhance core platforms and systems.

• Offer infrastructure and CI/CD guidance to broader engineering teams.

• Automate the build and deployment processes for software on the cloud platform.

• Reduce repetitive manual tasks.

• Enhance monitoring and alerting systems.

• Engage in on-call rotations and support troubleshooting efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure roles, particularly with AWS.

• Proficient in interacting with cloud platforms, including AWS & GCP, using CLI and/or API.

• Skilled in deploying infrastructure as code with Terraform, and preferably Ansible and Packer.

• Strong understanding of building and managing Docker images and containers.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, including git and CI tools (Jenkins, TravisCI, GitHub Actions).

• Knowledge of “cloud native” applications and the 12-Factor methodology.

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Graphite, Statsd, Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.

• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, Ruby, Node, Golang, Java).
