
Senior Clinical Research Associate – Obesity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee the research activities at locations involved in Worldwide’s clinical research initiatives.
• Generally engaged in all phases of the clinical study, which includes identifying suitable sites for participation in the research project.
• Execute various study start-up tasks, such as collaborating with sites to gather necessary regulatory documents and assisting in the negotiation of contracts and budgets.
• Educate the sites on proper data collection methods and ensure prompt reporting of any potential safety-related incidents.
• Supervise the site's functions throughout the study maintenance phase and facilitate the closure of research activities at the sites once the study is completed.
• Conduct study initiation visits (SIVs).
• Guarantee compliance with informed consent processes, reporting of potential safety-related incidents, and adherence to all relevant regulatory standards.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
• A 4-year university degree or a Nursing degree.
• Required experience in Obesity or Metabolic Disease.
• Experience in Rare Disease is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
• Outstanding organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC Systems.
