This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct all site monitoring visit activities, which include PSV, SIV, IMV, and COV visits
• Engage in site selection under the guidance of the Clinical Team Lead
• Offer feedback to sites regarding deficiencies and corrective actions, and ensure follow-up until issues are resolved
• Assist in the development and review of clinical trial protocols, study tools, materials, and documentation
• Mentor, train, and co-monitor junior members of the clinical team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical sites and Rho teams
• Convey project objectives and essential requirements
• Attend and present at meetings and conferences, including Investigator Meetings
• Take part in the RFP process and business development discussions
• Contribute to Rho’s Clinical Operations community, internal initiatives, and standard operating procedures
• Execute onsite and remote monitoring as well as study closure activities across various protocols
• Conduct 8–10 site visit days each month, with up to 80% travel
• Ensure clinical trial data is audit-ready and can withstand audits by Rho, sponsors, or regulatory bodies
• BA/BS degree, preferably in life sciences, nursing, pharmacy, or a related field
• Approximately 2 years of onsite monitoring experience for CRA II or 4–5+ years for Senior CRA
• Experience in the CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology sectors
• Familiarity with monitoring pain studies
• Knowledge of medical or therapeutic areas and medical terminology
• Computer literacy is essential
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with EDC systems
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Capability to manage multiple sites and protocols within set timelines and budgets
• Ability to collaborate with honesty and integrity
• Critical thinking and practical problem-solving skills
• Agility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Must reside within a 1-hour commute of a US metropolitan airport
• Willingness and commitment to conduct 8–10 site visit days per month, with up to 80% travel
