Senior Claims Examiner, Commercial Casualty Trucking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Manage GEICO's claims for commercial, short-haul, and long-haul trucking

• Perform investigations to assess coverage and liability for claims

• Review, negotiate, and resolve claims for damages

• Keep a pending diary of claims for settlement and resolution

• Offer support to GEICO policyholders involved in legal proceedings

• Assist insureds throughout the litigation process

• Provide guidance to defense attorneys

• Travel for training sessions, trials, and other litigation-related events

• Present case files to Senior Leadership

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in handling commercial trucking litigation claims

• Capability to deliver exceptional customer service

• Proficient in actively listening to customers’ needs

• Strong negotiation skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Must adhere to corporate attendance standards

• Required to obtain and maintain necessary licenses from state insurance departments

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent skills in presentations
