Senior Business Functional Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Convert business requirements into specifications, ensuring that functionalities and regulations meet client expectations, relevant legislation, and project objectives;

• Relay requirements to the development team;

• Maintain prompt and effective communication with clients regarding project deliveries;

• Assess business and product requirements, guidelines, regulations, and laws for complex projects;

• Apply changes in software utilizing intermediate-level programming skills, conducting testing and offering client support as necessary;

• Develop business scenarios that can be broken down into test cases to guarantee product quality;

• Manage relationships with both internal and external clients;

• Relay requirements to the development team;

• Familiarity with Indirect Taxes;

• Advanced expertise in Onesource Tax One, Tax Automation, and Thomson Reuters Data Dictionary;

• Maintain prompt and effective communication with clients regarding project deliveries;

• Assess business and product requirements, guidelines, regulations, and laws for complex projects;

• Apply changes in software utilizing intermediate-level programming skills, conducting testing and offering client support as necessary;

• Develop business scenarios that can be broken down into test cases to guarantee product quality;

• Manage relationships with both internal and external clients, employing a structured requirements documentation approach to evaluate short-, medium-, and long-term needs;

• Ensure systematic change management and communication within the team for complex projects and/or product maintenance and development;

• Execute process or product enhancements as directed by management;

• Cultivate a strong awareness and understanding of Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services within the assigned area;

• Assist in defining business rules for developing new products or updating existing ones;
