Senior BI & Data Analyst

📋 Description

• The Senior BI & Data Analyst plays a crucial role within Imagine's Analytics Team.

• This position is hybrid and demands expertise in both areas.

• The role significantly contributes to the Analytics Team's mission: facilitating data-driven decision-making throughout all of Imagine's functions and country teams.

• The Senior BI & Data Analyst is responsible for the entire lifecycle of Imagine's organizational dashboards and automated reports.

• Ensure that all dashboards and reports are optimized for three distinct audience levels: leadership and board, country teams, and global function leads.

• As Imagine's resident expert on BI tools, the Senior BI & Data Analyst not only utilizes the tools but also determines how the organization can effectively leverage them.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline.

• 5 to 7 years of experience in a BI analyst, data analyst, or a closely related analytics role, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years in a senior capacity.

• A proven history of creating and maintaining dashboards and automated reports that are actively utilized by non-technical stakeholders across an organization.

• Demonstrated experience operating in an internal-services or business-partnering model, addressing the diverse and competing data needs of multiple teams or business units simultaneously.

• Proficient in working with impact metrics and performance data within a program or delivery context, capable of converting operational data into valuable organizational insights.

• A proven track record of enhancing data literacy and promoting self-service adoption within an organization through training, documentation, or tooling enhancements that significantly improve data usage by teams.

• Experience collaborating with remote or hybrid teams across various countries and time zones.

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including the capability to write complex queries against cloud data warehouse environments.

• Practical experience with at least one major BI tool such as Metabase, Superset, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Excellent data visualization design skills, with the ability to create dashboards that are user-friendly and appropriately customized for their audience.
