Senior Backend Software Engineer, Subscriptions Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Take the lead and work collaboratively on the development of new features within our Subscriptions Backend.

• Provide and receive feedback regarding architectural choices.

• Enhance the observability, reliability, and maintainability of existing systems.

• Engage in code reviews to uphold code quality and foster knowledge sharing.

• Generate and sustain technical documentation.

• Discuss trade-offs and project scope with cross-functional stakeholders, including product and design teams.

• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure accurate insights into subscription purchasing behavior.

• Participate in an occasional on-call rotation as part of the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years in a software development position.

• At least 4 years of experience with Node.js or a similar backend technology.

• Over 1 year of experience in leading and executing complex design implementations.

• Familiarity with TypeScript is preferred.

• Experience with systems deployed in an AWS environment is preferred.
