Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Create the First Impression: You will oversee the agent's experience from their initial sign-up, focusing on onboarding processes, personalization strategies, and introductory incentives.

• Enhance Compliance Processes: You will develop and manage automations that address compliance and producer verification, transforming previously manual tasks into a smooth digital workflow.

• Influence the "Aha Moment": Your coding efforts will play a crucial role in guiding thousands of agents to their first successful engagement with a carrier.

• Connect Legacy and Innovation: You will be instrumental in advancing our core backend systems, ensuring that new growth initiatives function reliably alongside our essential codebase.

• Collaborate Internationally: You will partner closely with our Discovery & Access team and our US-based Product Manager to provide a seamless and cohesive experience for every agent on the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software development.

• Expertise in our technology stack: Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and asynchronous system architecture.

• Technological Proficiency: We seek an experienced Engineer who has dealt with complex systems and can serve as a technical authority within the team.

• Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities to effectively coordinate with the Team Leader, Product Manager, and other stakeholders.

• Team-Oriented: You excel as a team player who prioritizes collaboration and communication over independent work. You are prepared to assist your colleagues.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of delving into legacy code when required and determining the optimal path forward.

• Startup Mentality: A proactive, ownership-driven attitude with a focus on achieving results.

• AI Competence: Familiarity with contemporary LLM tools in daily operations.

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and Polish.
