Senior Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and enhance Akutiy’s SaaS platform. Your expertise and dedication to quality will help create top-notch developer tools for our users, partners, and customers.

• Work with Go on the server-side.

• Collaborate with designers and engineers to conceive, implement, and deliver features that alleviate the challenges of infrastructure operations for our users.

• Ensure that as our SaaS Platform experiences rapid growth, it remains scalable and is built with a developer-centric approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of development experience.

• More than 3 years of experience in creating scalable web applications utilizing Golang.

• Experience in building Kubernetes controllers or operators at scale within AWS, GCP, Azure, or on-premises environments.

• A strong passion for tackling complex technical products, especially in the areas of SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS.

• In-depth understanding of systems design, API design, and infrastructure.

• Proficient with relational databases (Postgres/MySQL).

• A genuine interest in crafting an exceptional end-to-end developer experience while using Akuity’s products.

• Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative mindset with a strong passion for developer experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Reside within US time zones (Pacific through Eastern), including Canada and other areas.
