Senior Backend Developer – Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the development and enhancement of the core product utilizing Ruby on Rails or Go to incorporate innovative features that enhance the solution's value.

• Actively contributing to the coding process.

• Producing high-quality code and implementing AI solutions while adhering to best practices, maintaining clean code, and integrating models that optimize our workflows.

• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to the team, fostering developer growth and nurturing a culture of continuous learning.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and refine architecture, processes, and technical solutions.

• Acting as a liaison between developers and Engineering Managers to ensure technical alignment, effective prioritization, and excellence in execution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: At least 5 years of backend development experience, preferably with Ruby on Rails or Golang.

• Previous experience serving as a technical reference or Tech Lead within engineering teams.

• Expertise in relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL) and adept data modeling.

• Familiarity with modern infrastructure, including Kubernetes and AWS.

• Strong understanding of monitoring tools (Datadog/Grafana) and messaging/background processing systems (Sidekiq, SQS, or Kafka).

• Proficient in automated testing (RSpec or similar), SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.

• Experience in developing scalable RESTful APIs and strong Git/Linux capabilities.

• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence: Familiarity with integrating LLMs, AI frameworks, or creating data-driven features.
