Senior Backend Developer – .NET, DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Analyze, design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions.

• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure the continuous integration and delivery of projects within set deadlines.

• Engage in agile ceremonies (planning, review, and others), ensuring alignment between project goals and business objectives.

• Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges, ensuring application stability and optimal performance.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of development and deployment processes.

• Utilize code assistants to expedite feature development.

• Generate effective prompts for code generation, refactoring, and documentation.

• Critically assess AI suggestions prior to approval and staging.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated experience in IT.

• At least 3 years of experience with DevOps automation, encompassing CI and CD.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or comparable tracking tools.

• Advanced knowledge and practical experience with C# (.NET Framework and .NET Core), ASP.NET, PL/SQL, Web Services and APIs, Service Bus, Azure, and APIM.

• Experience with Oracle databases.

• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).

• Prior experience in the insurance sector or financial institutions.

• Proficiency with cloud technologies (preferably Azure).

• Expertise in Prompt Engineering applied to software development.

• Knowledge of few-shot prompting and chain-of-thought techniques for coding.

• Understanding of data security and privacy considerations when utilizing public and private AIs.

• Desirable: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.

• Relevant certifications in DevOps or other IT disciplines.
