Senior Back End Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create solutions utilizing Java EE and Spring Boot;

• Analyze, develop, and test applications, employing suitable methodologies and procedures for deployment;

• Develop, integrate, and sustain APIs for system integration;

• Support technical and functional specifications based on business needs;

• Document the complete code development process;

• Generate status reports and document potential issues for the Project Manager;

• Engage in technical meetings and project ceremonies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in programming with Java (JDK);

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles;

• Familiarity with architectural pattern concepts;

• Knowledge of version control systems like Git or Subversion (SVN);

• Experience with open-source frameworks (Hibernate, Velocity, etc.);

• Understanding of web applications and the HTTP protocol;

• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.);

• Proficient with at least one IDE (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, etc.);

• Familiarity with Gradle, Maven, or ANT and continuous integration;

• Knowledge of ORM concepts or experience with implementations (Hibernate or another JPA);

• Advanced English proficiency — verbal and written communication skills.
