This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• We are seeking a Senior Back-End Developer with proficiency in the Backbase digital banking platform and the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
• Your role will involve designing, building, integrating, and enhancing enterprise banking solutions utilizing Backbase and .NET technologies.
• Collaborate closely with clients, product teams, architects, and fellow engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative digital banking experiences.
• Proven experience in implementing, integrating, and extending the Backbase digital banking platform.
• Over 5 years of professional software development experience with: C# .NET Core / .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
• Strong background in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Experience with SOAP and REST integrations, JSON, XML, and contemporary API design methodologies.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.
• Proficient in writing automated unit and integration tests using frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Strong knowledge of Git and modern source control practices.
• Experience in developing large-scale, enterprise-grade applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and systems that manage sensitive customer information.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or professional services fields.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related area (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience collaborating within Agile teams using Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration practices.
