Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure primarily utilizing AWS.

• Create, maintain, and enhance Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.

• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate reliable, automated software delivery across various environments.

• Deploy, manage, and enhance containerized workloads utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability, performance, and operational excellence.

• Apply best practices for cloud security, IAM policies, secrets management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance standards throughout the infrastructure.

• Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, and technical leadership to enhance deployment processes, platform scalability, and overall developer experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.

• Extensive hands-on experience in designing and managing production workloads on AWS, including services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, S3, Route 53, and Auto Scaling.

• Demonstrated experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Strong background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or related platforms.

• Significant experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production settings.

• Familiarity with implementing observability solutions using CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, or comparable tools.

• Proficient in Bash, Python, or other scripting languages for automation tasks.
