Senior AWS Cloud Data, BI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design and implement a secure, scalable AWS-based data lake and analytics architecture.

• Develop automated data ingestion pipelines from financial and operational systems.

• Build ETL/ELT workflows utilizing AWS Glue and related services.

• Configure and manage data governance and access controls through AWS Lake Formation.

• Optimize storage and query performance in Amazon S3 and Amazon Athena.

• Create dashboards and financial BI reports in Amazon QuickSight.

• Apply infrastructure-as-code principles using Terraform.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across financial datasets.

• Translate finance team requirements into technical data models and reporting solutions.

• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and reporting structures.

• Implement best practices for security, cost optimization, and performance tuning.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms, or BI solutions.

• Proven track record of delivering comprehensive AWS data solutions.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

• Ability to work independently in a contract role and meet tight deadlines.
