This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ensuring that audited claims adhere to established quality standards
• Engaging with initial auditors to guarantee precision
• Conducting clinical quality assurance evaluations
• Applying industry expertise to medical audit procedures
• Analyzing medical records for billing and coding discrepancies
• Providing mentorship to QA auditors or initial auditors
• Adapting to the initial audit role as necessary
• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (with an active/unrestricted license)
• At least 5 years of experience in claims auditing, quality assurance, or recovery auditing
• Coding Certification (RHIA, RHIT; CCS or CIC is preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare auditing or a related field
• Capability to mentor team members
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) is required
