Senior Auditor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate in small teams and independently, guided by the Audit Manager, to execute individual audit assignments;

• Participate in the planning, execution, and reporting phases of individual audits;

• Provide high-quality internal audit services to Divisions and/or Functions, adhering to the Capita internal audit methodology, International Internal Audit (IIA) standards, and Capita’s Policies and Standards.

• Foster and sustain strong relationships with the business throughout the audit process;

• Collaborate with the Risk & Compliance team and other second-line functions;

• Identify and escalate risks and issues within the business to the Audit Managers;

• Work in conjunction with management while maintaining independence, demonstrating agility and flexibility to meet business needs, offering insights to management, responding positively to feedback, and embodying the Capita Values.


⛳️ Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing outcomes and building relationships across the organization;

• Strong understanding of business and commercial dynamics that fosters credibility and confidence when engaging with the business;

• Ability to delve into details, comprehend issues at an appropriate depth, and pinpoint root causes;

• Willingness and capability to enhance their skills while providing coaching and support to colleagues;

• Capability to contribute to the establishment of a robust and highly competent internal audit team recognized across the organization;

• Minimum of 3 years of experience (including at least 2 years post-qualification) in a professional services or internal audit capacity;

• Proven track record in successfully delivering audit work;

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships as part of audit assignments;

• Commitment to continuous personal and professional development;

• Recognized professional or audit qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIIA equivalents).
