This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Drive innovation in internal audit by integrating advanced analytics into audit programs.
• Collect and analyze data to independently provide valuable insights.
• Collaborate with leadership to oversee audit processes and achieve audit plan goals.
• Design audit testing and create data analytics solutions using PowerBI, Snowflake (SQL/Python), and Tableau.
• Evaluate large datasets to uncover patterns, anomalies, and risks.
• Investigate and apply AI and machine learning techniques to enhance the audit lifecycle and refine audit processes.
• Lead and manage risk-based internal audits.
• Develop and execute continuous auditing and monitoring strategies utilizing automation and machine learning.
• Communicate the status of audits, findings, risks, and related issues to audit clients and executive leadership.
• Validate audit findings with clients, identify root causes, and offer actionable recommendations.
• Recognize and promote process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Conduct analytic reviews to establish facts, pinpoint issues, and suggest corrective actions.
• Prepare audit reports and secure commitment from process owners for corrective measures.
• Monitor and assess management's remediation of audit observations.
• Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a trusted partner and advisor.
• Support special investigations, departmental initiatives, co-sourced audit activities, and other projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 7 years of relevant experience within financial services organizations.
• Experience with installment loans is preferred.
• Background in financial audit data analytics and establishing automated continuous monitoring.
• CISA, CPA, or CIA certification is required.
• Familiarity with Workday and AuditBoard is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively across all management levels and staff.
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to complete projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
• Willingness and ability to consistently uphold and embrace core values of accountability, inclusivity, transparency, and focus.
