Senior Architect, Identity Access Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Create and sustain a multi-year IAM technology roadmap that aligns with the organization's objectives and future business requirements.

• Develop frameworks to operationalize IAM within hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

• Advocate for the adoption of Zero Trust principles, implementing "never trust, always verify" policies for both workforce and customer identities.

• Propose strategies to integrate IAM with enterprise security functions such as SIEM, UEBA, and SOC workflows.

• Design architecture for secure API authentication protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and RESTful services.

• Address challenges related to integrating on-premises IAM solutions with cloud-based IAM frameworks.

• Develop architecture to ensure a unified user identity and facilitate seamless transitions to hybrid or cloud-first models.

• Assess and choose IAM solutions while managing vendor relationships to ensure alignment with organizational needs.

• Design solutions for Privileged Access Management to secure and oversee high-level access roles and credentials.

• Formulate IAM-specific disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

• Ensure compliance of IAM systems with regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and SOX.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Identity & Access Management, including roles in architecture or senior technical positions.

• Practical experience in designing and integrating enterprise IAM platforms like Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping, or similar technologies.

• Comprehensive knowledge of authentication, authorization, federation, and contemporary identity protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).

• Experience in defining architecture standards, reference designs, and governance frameworks.

• Exceptional collaboration and communication abilities with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
