Senior Applied Artificial Intelligence Engineer – Insurance Domain Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist practices in addressing the growing client demand for AI transformation capabilities.

• Convert client strategic priorities, target operating models, and workflow challenges into implementable AI transformation roadmaps.

• Support clients in progressing beyond standalone AI pilots by linking AI use cases to quantifiable business outcomes.

• Analyze current-state insurance workflows, decision-making processes, handoffs, controls, data flows, and challenges.

• Redesign target workflows to facilitate AI-enabled delivery.

• Collaborate with business experts, AI engineers, and product owners to co-design practical AI-enabled solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related quantitative or business discipline.

• 6–8 years of pertinent professional experience in insurance, actuarial consulting, business transformation, operations, data management, technology-enabled consulting, or related sectors.

• Proven experience in supporting business development, proposal creation, client workshops, solution scoping, or the development of transformation roadmaps.

• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to connect senior business leaders, subject matter experts, AI engineers, technology teams, and client delivery teams.

• An entrepreneurial approach, structured problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and a readiness to develop a new capability within a rapidly evolving AI Solutions practice.
