Senior Applications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead sophisticated CT data analysis utilizing VGStudio MAX for evaluating porosity/inclusions, measuring wall thickness, conducting dimensional inspections, and creating visualizations.

• Establish optimal practices and standards for CAD-to-scan alignment along with automated inspection macros in VGStudio MAX.

• Collaborate with design engineering and metrology teams to address product variation challenges, define tolerances, and assist in root cause analysis.

• Develop and deploy standardized workflows for CT data processing across various locations, incorporating correlation and Gage R&R studies.

• Provide technical assistance to engineers and other departments to facilitate tooling development and enhance process improvements.

• Draft and maintain CT-specific inspection protocols, operating procedures, and data review methods that align with customer standards.

• Mentor CT technicians and analysts to enhance technical capabilities and ensure consistency in digital inspection practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience applying CT data to VG applications, including wall measurements and automation.

• Specialized training or experience in VolumeGraphics, including VGInline; completion of courses offered by Hexagon is a plus.

• Ability to meet visual acuity requirements as per NAS 410.

• Experience in developing and implementing VG automated macros; familiarity with CAD/NX is preferred.

• Experience in auditing and compliance management is preferred.

• Capability to train customer personnel in small group settings.

• Completed technical training, such as prior experience or course completion in VolumeGraphics.

• Willingness to support up to 80% travel, including extended periods stationed at customer facilities.

• Detail-oriented with respect to documentation related to training.

• Self-motivated with strong communication skills.
