Senior APIM Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• The APIM (API Management) Architect is tasked with the design, implementation, and governance of API management strategies across JLL's multi-cloud landscape, primarily utilizing Microsoft Azure API Management.

• Spearhead the creation of API standards, oversee the architecture of the Azure APIM platform, and collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate cloud-native digital transformation initiatives within JLL's technological framework.

• Develop and execute comprehensive Azure API Management architectures that are in sync with the enterprise cloud strategy and organizational objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.

• Over 8 years of experience in software development, cloud integration, or roles in enterprise architecture.

• At least 5 years of direct experience with Azure API Management (APIM) in production settings.

• Experience operating in multi-cloud environments that include at least two of the three leading cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• A proven history of designing and deploying enterprise-scale API solutions across various cloud platforms.

• Expert-level proficiency in Azure API Management, including advanced policy authoring, multi-region deployments, and virtual network integration.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure APIM functionalities such as products, subscriptions, versions, revisions, backends, and named values.

• Demonstrated capability to design and implement intricate Azure APIM policies for transformation, security, caching, and rate limiting.

• Strong grasp of Azure APIM networking configurations, including private endpoints, VPN integration, and ExpressRoute connectivity.

• Experience in customizing the Azure APIM developer portal and managing API publication workflows.
