This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Operate and oversee batch workflows within Control-M (Mainframe), ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Quickly address abends and processing failures by conducting issue analysis, applying necessary fixes, releasing jobs, and executing reprocessing/restarts.
• Conduct rapid code investigations in programs to determine root causes and execution parameters.
• Modify JCL and COBOL/DB2 programs, including steps, DDs, parameters, datasets, conditionals, and return codes (RCs).
• Adjust and verify SYSINs (execution cards and parameters).
• Analyze and implement changes to COBOL programs and JCLs in accordance with established change-management protocols.
• Work shifts, including evenings, overnight, and weekends as scheduled.
• Extensive experience with Control-M Mainframe (including dependencies, rerun/restart, and troubleshooting).
• Proficient in JCL and SYSIN.
• Familiarity with analyzing failures in a TSO/ISPF environment.
• Practical knowledge of batch processing components (RCs, steps, and datasets).
• Experience with GDG and VSAM, as applicable to the client context.
• Willingness to work on a rotating schedule, including weekends.
• Bachelor's degree completed or currently in progress in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
