Senior Analyst – Credit Risk & Eligibility

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kenya.

📋 Description

• Analyze M-KOPA's repayment data along with other data sources to enhance credit scorecards and eligibility criteria while effectively managing credit risk.

• Optimize loan pricing based on credit evaluations and customer behavior.

• Evaluate new loan types to gauge customer demand and assess credit performance.

• Track credit performance to identify risk changes and assess margin implications.

• Assess the predictiveness of new data sets for the purpose of eligibility criteria.

• Utilize Python, SQL, and other tools to extract data insights.

• Collaborate with data scientists to utilize machine learning models in loan eligibility determinations.

• Proficient in statistical modeling and quantitative analysis, including the capability to perform independent analysis of unstructured data.

• Background in credit, underwriting, or lending analytics.

• Expertise in Python, SQL, and other pertinent analytical tools.

• Experience in translating intricate data insights into practical business strategies.

• Capability to work collaboratively across product, engineering, and commercial teams.

• Excellent data communication skills in written, oral, and visual formats.

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
