Senior Analyst – Clinical Data Abstraction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Efficiently and accurately extract medical data from a variety of sources for designated disease areas and projects.

• Analyze and interpret intricate medical information to deliver valuable insights from EHR/EMR.

• Knowledge of Inpatient Medical records and discharge summary data.

• Document activities such as time dedicated to medical records and audits completed.

• Engage and contribute during team meetings and educational sessions.

• Uphold confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations when managing sensitive information.

• Work collaboratively with team members to meet project goals and objectives.

• Maintain a strong level of medical knowledge and proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

• Intermediate skills in MS Office Excel.

• Quality Assurance: Regularly meet the minimum quality standards outlined in the QA plan.

• Accept feedback from Quality Analysts and ensure prompt correction of errors.

• Participate in quarterly inter-rater reliability evaluations.

• Assist in quality assurance processes to ensure data integrity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Life Sciences (BDS, MDS, MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BPharm, Nursing).

• 1-4 years of experience in Medical Area Abstraction.

• Preferred experience in the Oncology or Cardiovascular domain.

• Fundamental knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology is essential.
