Senior AI Video Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire video production process, from defining business objectives to delivering a polished final product, including AI generation, compositing, motion graphics, sound design, color grading, and finishing.

• Craft compelling narratives through video. Each piece should feature a clear narrative structure, purposeful pacing, and a defined arc. Write your own scripts and storyboards while understanding the impact of music, silence, and timing on the story.

• Create a high volume of both short-form and long-form content by utilizing AI video generation models alongside traditional finishing techniques, ensuring same-day or next-day turnaround in collaboration with social, PMM, and brand teams.

• Develop and document repeatable AI video workflows that enhance output speed without compromising quality, which can be utilized by the broader team.

• Stay at the forefront of technology: assess new AI video models shortly after their release and incorporate effective solutions into production processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in video editing and production. A portfolio is required and must include AI-generated work that showcases outstanding visual aesthetics.

• Advanced daily proficiency with AI video generation models (such as Kling, Runway, Veo, Seedance, Pika, etc.). Expertise in prompt engineering that controls style, motion, camera work, lighting, and continuity through prompts and parameters.

• Strong capabilities in scriptwriting and storyboarding.

• A meticulous approach to the craft, including color grading, pacing, typography, motion graphics, and audio design.

• Proficient in at least one non-linear editing software (NLE) such as Premiere, DaVinci, or Final Cut for finishing and compositing.
