This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Take ownership of the entire production process, guiding episodes from raw recordings to publication on a consistent weekly timeline.
• Review the current podcast and content library, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and suggest improvements in storytelling, production quality, pacing, audio, and visual identity.
• Transform podcast content into short-form videos for platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Edit recordings from AFC meetups, vox pops, and employer branding videos.
• Develop, document, and continuously refine scalable production workflows, templates, and standard operating procedures to optimize the entire content operation.
• Oversee the content calendar, publishing schedule, and complete workflow from the content brief to final publication with minimal oversight.
• Collaborate with the founder and key stakeholders to enhance creative direction while confidently proposing improvements and ensuring production excellence.
• Establish a streamlined brief-to-publication workflow to minimize back-and-forth communication.
• Craft engaging captions and distribute content across various social media platforms.
• Coordinate voice-over recordings and seamlessly incorporate them into final podcast episodes as necessary.
• Utilize AI tools to boost editing efficiency, transcription, caption generation, workflow automation, and overall content production.
• Organize and manage podcast assets, production files, and documentation using Google Drive, Notion, and other collaborative tools.
• Identify production bottlenecks, proactively implement improved systems, and consistently enhance the quality and impact of every piece of content.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the editing and production of podcasts from recording to final publication.
• A solid understanding of podcast production workflows, publishing processes, and maintaining a consistent brand identity.
• Advanced video editing capabilities with experience in both long-form and short-form content, including multi-camera editing, color correction, transitions, captions, motion graphics, and visual storytelling.
• Proficient audio editing skills with a keen attention to sound quality, dialogue clarity, pacing, and overall production quality.
• Strong storytelling skills with excellent judgment regarding narrative flow, audience engagement, and transcript-based editorial choices.
• Experience in creating content for YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other digital platforms.
• Ability to independently manage projects from inception to final delivery while balancing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience in developing production workflows, templates, SOPs, and scalable creative systems, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, with knowledge of Adobe Audition (or equivalent) regarded as highly desirable.
• Graphic design skills relevant to podcast artwork, social media templates, and YouTube thumbnails.
• Experience with Google Workspace, Google Drive, Notion, and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance productivity and content workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong attention to detail and the confidence to make creative recommendations.
