Senior Accounting Analyst, Consolidation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute balance conversions and perform eliminations of intercompany transactions.

• Collaborate with the team to pinpoint and address accounting discrepancies.

• Actively engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of consolidated group financial data.

• Provide assistance to the accounting team.

• Coordinate with other departments (such as FP&A, Controllership, and Operations) to align information and consolidate financial analyses.

• Aid in the preparation of financial statements as well as the drafting of explanatory notes.

• Support the creation of management reports and financial analyses.

• Suggest and implement enhancements to expedite closing timelines and automate departmental processes.

• Assist with both internal and external audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Knowledge of accounting closing procedures and consolidation within integrated systems (ERP/SAP).

• Strong understanding of CPCs (Brazilian accounting pronouncements) and IFRS.

• Comprehensive/general accounting knowledge.

• Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify opportunities for process improvements and support their implementation.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.

• Proficiency in English at an advanced level.
