Security Incident Response Specialist, Ukrainian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Complete investigation and coordination cycle in response to security or workflow breaches;

• Direct communication with Clients and stakeholders in the event of a Data Breach;

• Conducting Root Cause Analysis, developing preventive strategies, and preparing reports for senior management;

• Analyzing operational workflows of Clients based on incident trends to pinpoint potential threats to the organization and formulating proactive security enhancement recommendations;

• Assessing the security of software, platforms, and third-party services.

• Evaluating new hiring locations concerning data protection standards and the feasibility of security tools.

• Creating incident management protocols and maintaining the internal knowledge repository.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in investigating and managing information security incidents (minimum of 1 year)

• Analytical mindset with the capacity to make swift decisions to reduce incident impact

• Strong self-organization abilities and the capability to prioritize tasks independently

• Understanding of data privacy principles and breach notification regulations

• Proficiency in English at B2 level or above.

• Additional Assets:

• Expertise in OSINT methodologies for investigative purposes

• Background in the BPO or Customer Support sectors

• Basic understanding of security tools logic (SIEM, EDR, DLP, NGFW, VPN, VDI).
