Security Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness of IAM processes across various environments.

• Gaining a thorough understanding of Akamai's internal systems, data sources, and processes to assist stakeholders in utilizing IAM services.

• Familiarity with the IAM landscape, particularly regarding the onboarding of applications to Role Management tools.

• Engaging with IAM domains such as single sign-on, privilege access management, directory services, access federation, and account lifecycle management.

• Documenting functional, non-functional, and technical specifications, including KPIs and KCIs, to assess the effectiveness of business decisions.

• Collaborating closely with the compliance team to address risks and challenges associated with the IAM domain.

• Monitoring market trends within the IAM sector to identify opportunities for further development.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience along with a Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• In-depth knowledge of Linux, single sign-on, privilege access management, directory services, access federation, and account lifecycle.

• Experience in automation using Python and data visualization techniques.

• Proficiency in the Atlassian suite, specifically JIRA and Confluence.

• Familiarity with business process automation best practices.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
