This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Protect internal company data and client information, encompassing consumer credit data and personally identifiable information (PII)
• Oversee information security policies, processes, and tools
• Supervise vendor risk management
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, government regulations, and client requirements
• Enhance automation and detection initiatives for robust solutions
• Develop and improve security tools, automated checks, and CI/CD pipeline controls
• Evaluate internal metrics and alerting workflows to minimize false positives
• Create repeatable processes and playbooks to efficiently resolve incidents
• Take part in a weekly on-call rotation as the primary incident responder/incident manager
• Execute security strategies for AWS-based serverless infrastructure and authentication surfaces, including SAML single sign-on
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, along with 2–4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience
• Over 3 years of experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role
• More than 2 years of experience in cybersecurity technologies, including vulnerability management, security monitoring, data logging, and identity and access management (IAM)
• At least 1 year of experience with AWS security services, such as WAF, GuardDuty, IAM, KMS, and CloudWatch
• Over 2 years of experience in tool integrations and REST APIs
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Python
• Experience in Security Operations, security monitoring, Incident Response, and Threat Intelligence
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies, network security, and network monitoring solutions
• Familiarity with authentication and single sign-on systems, including SAML and OIDC/OAuth
• Understanding of web application firewalls and intrusion detection and notification systems
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools, such as Pulumi, SST, or Terraform
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms like AWS
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States
