Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Administer and manage SailPoint Identity Security Cloud setups, which include Identity Profiles, Access Profiles, Roles, Policies, and Lifecycle Event triggers.

• Configure and assist in provisioning workflows, approval processes, and automated Joiner–Mover–Leaver lifecycle events.

• Develop and uphold SailPoint Rules for Before/After Provisioning, Aggregation, and Correlation.

• Maintain mappings of identity attributes, correlation logic, authoritative source configurations, and ensure the quality of identity data.

• Monitor and resolve provisioning failures, connector alerts, and issues related to identity synchronization.

• Provide support for the configuration and upkeep of connectors for Active Directory, Entra ID, Epic, FreshService, HRIS, and other enterprise applications.

• Keep documentation updated for configurations, workflows, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with IAM leadership, HRIS, IT, and application owners to ensure accurate identity data and enhance access processes.

• Assist in the modernization of the IAM program in compliance with HIPAA, NIST, Zero Trust, and internal governance standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 3–5+ years of experience in supporting Identity & Access Management or IGA platforms.

• Practical experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and Non-Employee Risk Management.

• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC/ABAC, SoD, and access governance.

• Experience with Active Directory user administration, Entra ID, LDAP, SCIM, SSO, MFA, and HRIS systems.

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Capacity to work in a complex, unionized healthcare setting.

• Preferred: Certification as a SailPoint Identity Security Administrator.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Cerner, Epic, or other EMR identity frameworks.

• Preferred: Experience with cloud identity platforms such as Entra ID, AWS IAM, or GCP IAM.

• Preferred: Proficiency in PowerShell for basic operational automation scripting.

• Preferred: Experience using Postman.

• Preferred: Understanding of HIPAA and HITECH regulations.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting identity operations within regulated industries.
