This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to design, implement, and enhance security controls throughout AlertMedia’s software, application architecture, and AWS infrastructure.
• Enhance capabilities for security monitoring, detection, and incident response.
• Incorporate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and software development processes.
• Assist with SOC 2 and ISO audits.
• Spearhead technical segments of enterprise customer security assessments and architecture discussions.
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of AlertMedia’s software and provide guidance to Sales and Legal on customer security inquiries.
• Articulate security risks, requirements, and recommendations to technical teams, business partners, and clients.
• Recognize opportunities to bolster security and compliance controls across both product and infrastructure.
• A minimum of three years of experience in security engineering, information security, compliance, or a similar role.
• Practical experience in securing AWS environments.
• Familiarity with AWS security services such as IAM, VPC, KMS, WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and Macie.
• Understanding of identity and access management, encryption standards, cloud infrastructure, and security tools.
• Experience in integrating security practices into CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows.
• Background in supporting SOC 2 and/or ISO audits.
• Experience in application security, cloud security, or incident response initiatives.
• Proven experience in participating in customer security reviews and conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience leading technical security or architecture discussions with enterprise clients.
• Strong analytical, project management, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
• A collaborative and adaptable mindset when working with both technical and business teams.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
