This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Ownership of Security Assessments - Take the lead in conducting security assessments for designated components within client interactions.
• Discovery and Analysis of Vulnerabilities - Identify and confirm vulnerabilities in application code and systems.
• Development of Custom Security Tools - Create and develop security testing tools and automation for the detection of vulnerabilities.
• Threat Modeling and Architecture Reviews - Perform threat modeling and architecture evaluations of software systems.
• Communication with Clients - Convert technical findings into straightforward, actionable recommendations for engineering teams.
• Research and Innovation Contributions - Engage in security research projects and maintain a position at the forefront of the field.
• Proven Vulnerability Research Skills - Demonstrated ability to discover and validate genuine vulnerabilities.
• Strong Skills in Code Analysis - Capable of interpreting complex code, tracing execution paths, identifying logical flaws, and articulating vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in Hands-on Coding - Fluent in at least two of the following: Rust, Go, C, C++, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Understanding of Memory Safety - Knowledgeable about memory corruption vulnerabilities and contemporary mitigations.
• In-depth Systems Knowledge - Comprehensive understanding of operating systems, inter-process communication, privilege boundaries, and system internals.
• Self-sufficient Problem-Solving - Proactively manage your own tasks and pose insightful questions.
• Effective Technical Communication - Ability to convey complex security findings to engineers clearly.
