Security Assessment & Authorization Specialist – SA&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide expert knowledge in completing necessary Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) documents and activities for Azure native platforms.

• Gather, record, and preserve evidence of control responses to ensure adherence to security standards.

• Create and maintain detailed Security Installation Plans for the secure deployment of systems.

• Perform security testing, analyze the outcomes, and document test reports.

• Detect vulnerabilities and suggest remediation strategies.

• Utilize knowledge of Azure platform security configurations to apply best practices and enhance security posture.

• Leverage expertise in the Government of Canada SA&A process to ensure compliance with regulations.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement and uphold security measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance is required at the time of application.

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Security Assessment and Authorization.

• Demonstrated experience with security configurations and management on the Azure platform.

• Knowledge of Government of Canada SA&A processes and compliance requirements is essential.
