Security Assessment and Authorization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver subject matter expertise in the completion of necessary SA&A documentation and activities for Azure-native platforms.

• Gather, document, and uphold evidence of control responses to ensure adherence to security standards.

• Create and maintain detailed Security Installation Plans for the secure deployment of systems.

• Perform security testing, evaluate results, and document findings in test reports.

• Identify vulnerabilities and propose remediation strategies.

• Utilize knowledge of Azure platform security configurations to implement best practices and improve security posture.

• Leverage expertise in the Government of Canada SA&A process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to implement and sustain security measures.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, focusing on Security Assessment and Authorization.

• Demonstrated experience with Azure platform security configurations and management.

• Knowledge of Government of Canada SA&A processes and compliance standards.

• Secret security clearance is mandatory.
