Security Architect II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the technical integration of Security Solutions, which includes configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and deployment.

• Assess customer traffic and systems, tailoring Akamai security solutions to resolve security challenges faced by clients.

• Oversee and document technical issues, responses, and requests.

• Work alongside cross-functional project teams to define project scope, establish timelines, devise technical solutions, and assist with ongoing implementation.

• Engage in continuous training initiatives to enhance skills and educate others.

• Provide, integrate, sustain, and optimize security solutions for a global clientele.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in security technologies, processes, and concepts.

• A formal educational background in computer science or engineering.

• Strong understanding of internet fundamentals, DNS, and routing.

• Familiarity with communication protocols such as HTTP or TCP.

• Previous experience as an Application Security Engineer or Network Security Engineer.

• Capability to analyze customer traffic and systems, customizing Akamai security solutions accordingly.

• Knowledge of OWASP, network security products, network and application firewalls, as well as server- and client-side application architecture.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for conveying complex technical information succinctly.

• A proactive mindset, swift execution, eagerness to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.
