This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Establish and oversee the enterprise cyber security architecture across IT, cloud, operational technology (OT), and emerging technologies.
• Develop a forward-thinking cyber security strategy while upholding architectural principles and standards.
• Create and sustain capability maps and manage the application portfolio for cyber security.
• Formulate sub-strategies and provide thought leadership in areas such as AI identity, exposure management, OT security, and micro-segmentation.
• Offer expert guidance to programs and stakeholders regarding strategic and tactical technology choices.
• Define and uphold cyber security reference architectures and design patterns.
• Evaluate and endorse architecture decisions through governance boards and design authorities.
• Propel improvements in cloud security that align with posture assessments.
• Perform architectural risk assessments and deliver trade-off decisions that balance security, cost, and delivery.
• Serve as a cyber architecture authority in design and investment discussions.
• Lead and participate in enterprise architecture initiatives and governance activities.
• Produce white papers and contribute to the organization’s thought leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business, IT, and OT sectors.
• Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop strategic roadmaps.
• Support initiatives within the security community, including mentoring and awareness programs.
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise or cyber security architecture within complex, large-scale environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of security architecture across cloud, enterprise IT, and operational technology domains.
• Proven ability to define security strategies, principles, and reference architectures.
• Established capability to influence architectural decisions through governance and design authority forums.
• In-depth knowledge of risk management, security controls, and secure-by-design principles.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools.
• Ability to engage and sway stakeholders across both technical and business functions.
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities with a risk-based perspective.
• Experience in contributing to thought leadership, strategy formation, and white papers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills at senior and executive levels.
