Security Analyst, Level 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Complex security incidents are directed to you — you conduct in-depth investigations, carry out comprehensive analyses, and make informed decisions.

• As a point of escalation, you provide reassurance during critical situations and ensure effective communication between customers and internal teams is clear and structured.

• In customer meetings (such as monthly reviews or ad-hoc sessions), you cultivate trust, articulate context clearly, and empower customers to navigate security processes independently.

• Collaborating with Engineering, you enhance best practices related to Microsoft Sentinel and Defender.

• You don’t just uphold playbooks and processes — you genuinely enhance them, prioritizing quality and efficiency.

• You actively impart your knowledge to 2nd-level analysts, elevating the entire team to new heights.

• You share our frustration with false positives — that’s why you proactively strive to enhance our detection quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, especially in managing complex security incidents.

• Profound technical expertise in Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and prevalent security tools.

• Analytical thinking is among your core strengths.

• You communicate effectively and respectfully with both technical teams and customers.

• Experience in fast-paced environments.

• You take initiative — you lead rather than wait.

• Proficient in both German and English, with strong written and spoken skills.
