Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and assess security incidents utilizing SIEM reports and various security tools.

• Assist in incident response efforts, which include triage, investigation, evidence collection, and root cause analysis.

• Conduct access management tasks, comprising periodic access reviews and entitlement validation.

• Facilitate vulnerability management by monitoring findings, tracking remediation progress, and managing risk acceptance.

• Develop and uphold security metrics, KPIs, reports, risk registers, and remediation logs.

• Aid in audit preparedness and evidence gathering for ISO 27001/17/18, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and other pertinent frameworks.

• Support the upkeep of security policies, procedures, standards, and documentation of controls.

• Assist with third-party vendor security assessments and manage vendor risk documentation.

• Collaborate with IT, engineering, compliance, and business teams on matters related to security.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT, compliance, audit, risk management, or a related area.

• Hands-on experience in a Security Analyst or comparable cybersecurity position.

• Knowledge of IAM, access reviews, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.

• Familiarity with cloud security, endpoint security, cloud IAM models, and basic networking principles.

• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or GDPR.

• Experience dealing with security documentation, policies, procedures, audit evidence, and compliance assessments.

• Capability to analyze security data, trends, and metrics while clearly communicating findings.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience with tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, ticketing systems, document repositories, or collaboration platforms.
