Security Alignment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.

📋 Description

• Lead Security Alignment Reviews: Execute thorough audits for mid-sized clients, pinpointing and alleviating intermediate technical risks. You will then offer actionable insights to improve their security stance.

• Standards Champion: Take full responsibility for managing and updating the company's IT security standards library. This involves keeping documentation up to date, integrating new best practices, and effectively distributing updates to internal teams.

• Technical Support Rockstar: Deliver intermediate technical support to end-users by efficiently and expertly resolving tickets. Utilize established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure a consistent and high-quality service experience.

• Process Improvement Advocate: Regularly assess our processes and proactively propose enhancements to optimize workflow and increase efficiency.

• Documentation Guru: Ensure the maintenance of comprehensive and precise client technical documentation, aiming for a 98% accuracy rate.

• vCIO Collaboration: Organize routine vCIO review meetings with clients to promote open dialogue and cultivate strong relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience (preferred)

• 3-5 years of experience in IT Help Desk (preferred)

• Advanced understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices

• Strong experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)

• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications (preferred)

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High attention to detail with a dedication to precision

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks concurrently
