Scriptwriter, Researcher

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough fact-checking of scripts, animations, and edits for both long-form and short-form YouTube videos focused on geology, meteorology, paleontology, and related disciplines.

• Compile comprehensive lists of reference materials for scripts.

• Provide constructive feedback to scriptwriters and editors, including recommendations for enhancement or additional details.

• Source appropriate images and video footage for editing purposes.

• Identify and acquire high-quality images and video clips from scientific organizations and stock footage libraries.

• Confirm the authenticity and accuracy of visual content.

• Ensure that sourced materials adhere to copyright regulations and usage rights.

• Collaborate effectively with the video production team to ensure that visuals contribute to the narrative and educational significance.

• Conduct research on both existing and innovative ideas.

• Research and draft scripts for Astrum Earth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A solid background or degree in science, physics, geology, paleontology, or related disciplines.

• Proven writing experience in scientific articles, blogs, copywriting, newsletters, magazines, scripts, or related formats.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong critical analysis skills.

• Interest or experience in science communication and public outreach.

• A passion for geology, meteorology, paleontology, and science in general.

• Interest in or experience with YouTube video production (preferred).

• Experience in locating archival material to illustrate scientific concepts (preferred).
