School-based Therapist, Counselor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• At AXIS, Mental Health Therapists empower school-aged children by implementing evidence-based strategies to foster positive behavior, enhance social skills, and promote academic achievement.

• Develop personalized behavior intervention plans, collaborate with families and educators, and assist students in thriving through consistent, data-informed support.

• Ensure that every child has the opportunity to cultivate independence and resilience, regardless of their circumstances.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree in Counseling

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a school environment

• State-required School Counselor Certification

• At least 2 years of school-based experience providing IEP-focused counseling services

• Ability to write IEP-based SMART goals, document measurable session notes, and track data for progress monitoring

• Professional Integrity & Accountability – Exhibits ethical behavior, adheres to policies, and takes responsibility for duties

• Collaboration & Communication – Effectively collaborates with colleagues and contributes to a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere
