SAP WM Functional Consultant, German Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Organizing and leading workshops with business stakeholders to collect and assess warehouse management requirements.

• Converting business needs into SAP WM configurations and functional solutions.

• Conducting comprehensive analyses of warehouse and logistics processes and recommending effective SAP solutions.

• Configuring and testing SAP WM functionalities to align with business requirements.

• Assisting with integration efforts between SAP WM and other SAP modules, such as MM, SD, PP, QM, and EWM when applicable.

• Keeping project documentation up-to-date, which includes process flows, functional specifications, configuration documents, and testing documentation.

• Developing Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and providing support to technical teams during development activities.

• Assisting with data migration, master data validation, and preparation of warehouse-related data.

• Engaging in end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and providing support during the go-live phase.

• Working collaboratively with global and local teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of consulting experience in SAP WM, preferably with involvement in one full-cycle SAP implementation project.

• Strong practical experience in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) configuration and support.

• Solid understanding of warehouse and logistics processes, including Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Putaway, Picking, Stock Transfers, Physical Inventory, Batch Management, and Handling Units.

• Experience with integrating SAP WM with MM, SD, PP, and QM modules.

• Background in supporting testing activities, resolving defects, and validating business processes.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Fluent in German (both spoken and written).

• Professional proficiency in English communication.
