SAP TM Functional Consultant, German Speaker

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Organizing and leading workshops with business stakeholders to collect and assess transportation management requirements.

• Converting business needs into SAP TM configurations and functional solutions.

• Conducting in-depth analyses of transportation and logistics processes, proposing viable SAP solutions.

• Configuring and testing SAP TM features in alignment with business requirements.

• Assisting in integration efforts between SAP TM and other SAP modules, such as EWM, SD, MM, LE, and FI.

• Keeping project documentation up to date, including process flows, functional specifications, configuration documents, and testing documentation.

• Developing Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and assisting technical teams during the development phase.

• Aiding in master data preparation, migration tasks, and validation of transportation-related data.

• Engaging in end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), resolving defects, and providing go-live support.

• Collaborating with both global and local teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of SAP TM consulting experience, preferably with involvement in one full-cycle SAP implementation project.

• Strong practical experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) configuration and support.

• Solid understanding of transportation and logistics processes, encompassing: Freight Order Management, Freight Unit Management, Transportation Planning, Carrier Selection, Freight Settlement, Charge Management, Tendering, Transportation Execution, and Freight Cost Calculation.

• Experience in integrating SAP TM with EWM, SD, MM, LE, and FI.

• Background in supporting testing activities, defect resolution, and validation of business processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficiency in German (both spoken and written).

• Professional English communication skills.
