SAP Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Spearhead comprehensive solution architecture for SAP platforms, including ECC, S/4HANA, IBP, MDG, TM, Datasphere, and SAC, ensuring smooth integration with Convatec’s enterprise systems.

• Create scalable, API-led architectures utilizing SAP BTP, REST, OData, middleware, and event-driven patterns to facilitate interoperability across global systems.

• Generate high-quality architectural documentation (HLA, HLD) and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards throughout project execution.

• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering leads, and vendors to establish the architectural foundation for SAP programs and associated initiatives.

• Evaluate current solutions to pinpoint gaps in scalability, security, performance, and compliance; recommend future-state architectures that align with Convatec’s strategic goals.

• Oversee SAP platforms and integrations with systems such as TrackWise, MES, LIMS, LAM, CRM, ServiceNow, analytics platforms, and third-party solutions.

• Ensure solid integration patterns between SAP and external logistics, financial platforms, and enterprise systems.

• Assist in RFP processes, vendor selection, and TCO analysis for SAP-related technologies and services.

• Promote privacy-by-design, security-by-design, and AI-by-design principles within SAP architecture and related workflows.

• Lead SAP-related components of global digital and supply chain transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

• Serve as Technical Design Authority (TDA) for SAP solutions across projects, offering architectural guidance to delivery teams.

• Develop future-state models and roadmaps for Convatec’s SAP ecosystem, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundation in solution architecture across Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement technologies.

• Extensive expertise as an SAP Solution Architect with practical experience in ECC/S/4HANA and related modules (TM, FI/CO, MM, SD), in addition to SAP IBP, Datasphere, SAC, MDG, SAP CALM, Signavio, and BTP.

• Solid understanding of integration patterns and proficiency in SAP integration technologies (SAP Integration Suite, Cloud Integration, API Management, Open Connectors, Integration Advisor, and Advanced Event Mesh).

• Demonstrated ability to produce High-Level Architecture (HLA) and High-Level Design (HLD) documentation to an exceptional standard, working independently and proactively.

• Experience with enterprise cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (preferred) and AWS.

• Knowledge of enterprise data governance, privacy, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
