SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance, Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the SAP PM workstream for S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or conversion projects.

• Take ownership of solution design decisions for comprehensive plant maintenance and asset management processes.

• Guarantee timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery of PM scope throughout all project phases.

• Oversee dependencies and risks across PM, EAM, and integrated SAP modules.

• Serve as the primary SAP PM trusted advisor to client stakeholders.

• Facilitate executive-level discussions regarding maintenance strategy, asset reliability, and the S/4HANA roadmap.

• Convert complex business challenges into scalable SAP S/4HANA PM solutions.

• Propel fit-to-standard and process harmonization discussions utilizing SAP best practices.

• Supervise integration with Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Quality Management (QM), Finance & Controlling (FI/CO), and Asset Accounting (FI-AA).

• Collaborate closely with technical architects on interfaces, enhancements, forms, reports, and data migration.

• Guide design decisions that affect enterprise asset management and finance alignment.

• Review and authorize functional designs, configurations, and test scenarios.

• Lead and manage unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Assist with cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare from a leadership standpoint.

• Ensure compliance with consulting delivery standards and methodologies.

• Mentor both senior and junior consultants within the PM workstream.

• Provide insights on functional design, SAP best practices, and client engagement.

• Foster performance development and knowledge sharing within the practice.

• Participate in pre-sales activities, including:

• - Solution design and estimates

• - Client presentations and demonstrations

• - Proposal and RFP responses

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10+ years of S/4HANA consulting experience, including at least 2-3 full lifecycle implementations in SAP PM.

• Proven experience in a client-facing role within a consulting or systems integration environment.

• Extensive expert-level knowledge of SAP PM in S/4HANA.

• Strong comprehension of:

• - Asset lifecycle management

• - Maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution

• - Regulatory and compliance maintenance

• Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA PM Fiori applications.

• Strong command of master data governance and process optimization.

• Solid understanding of integration with modules such as MM, WH, QM, FI/CO, and EWM.

• Build credible relationships with client stakeholders at both operational and managerial levels.

• SAP Certification in PM modules is a valuable asset.

• Familiarity with Agile project delivery frameworks.

• Significant proven experience in client-facing consulting roles.

• Experience with global delivery and collaboration with offshore resources.

• Excellent communication skills in professional-level English, coupled with a proactive attitude.
