SAP Product MDM Technical Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, configuration, and governance of Article Master Data within SAP S/4 Retail environments.

• Convert business requirements into practical technical designs.

• Direct development teams and maintain data integrity across systems.

• Assist with project workstreams related to master data.

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 Retail Article structures, including article types, characteristics, number ranges, distribution chains, site data, and reference articles.

• Create and configure Article Master setups and associated workflows in MDM tools.

• Transform business-area customer information into comprehensive enterprise application design deliverables.

• Evaluate functional and technical alternatives with consultants, SMEs, and client team members, and offer recommendations.

• Draft programming specifications, diagrams, and coding logic flowcharts for enterprise application modifications or installations.

• Assist and advise on data conversion, functional design, mapping, and readiness activities.

• Oversee budgeting, staffing, forecasting, and work planning for the technical MDM workstream.

• May lead, mentor, and train junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA.

• Familiarity with SAP Retail Article Master architecture and configuration.

• Practical MDM experience in designing article workflows and master-data governance models.

• Proven experience in preparing technical specifications, logic diagrams, and workflow documentation.

• SAP implementation and configuration experience is preferred.

• Leadership capabilities and experience in managing multiple teams are preferred.

• Must be a US citizen; no dual citizenship allowed.

• Ability to secure a client Public Trust government clearance.

• US work authorization that does not currently or will not in the future require visa sponsorship.
